Site: Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center

This year (2022) Energy Taiwan & Net Zero Taiwan Exhibition was held at the Nangang Exhibition Center from October 19th to 21st. Our center was invited by AUO to visit the exhibition to learn about the latest trends and technologies in renewable energy. Following the signing of a memorandum of understanding between our university and AUO, our center actively participated in ecological monitoring and social surveys before, during, and after the development of a ground-based photovoltaic project in Fenglin Township, Hualien County, and its surrounding areas, to understand the impact and scale of the project development.

Furthermore, building on the aforementioned scientific research and to ensure that future planning recommendations are more aligned with actual technological conditions, our center's professors and researchers also conducted cross-disciplinary studies, gaining an understanding of photovoltaic technology and energy management, and engaging with photovoltaic industry professionals for mutual learning. Attendees benefited greatly from the detailed explanations and answers provided by AUO professionals on the latest developments in solar photovoltaic technology, intelligent energy management applications, and related business models. Furthermore, we visited various booths at the conference to learn about the current state of renewable energy technology and visited other companies with existing development sites in Hualien, expressing our center's potential for assistance and fostering potential future collaborations.
