The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released its Summary for Policymakers of its Sixth Assessment Report on March 20, 2023. Established in 1988, the IPCC has published five assessment reports to date. The Sixth Assessment Report (AR6) began publication in 2021 and will consist of four volumes, culminating in 2023.
